^_^ Thank you -- I'm glad you enjoyed it. ^_^ The speaker seems to have a great reverence, even over their obvious love, for Yondaime. That was the reason for writing it as I did, as really the only other time you see that is when someone is writing about God.

I think that it would still be easy for them to hate the child of their hero, if they looked to Naruto as a reminder of Yondaime's death -- especially seeing how much he seemed to mean to them. Besides, Naruto bears the Kyuubi within him, and they seem to see Naruto and Kyuubi being the same thing. *huggles him* They don't care about 'Naruto', because Naruto is not Yondaime, and that was where their love lay.

Makes you wonder, though -- would it be better for Naruto to go through life as he is now, or know that the Yondaime was his father, and have to live more like Sasuke, trying to hold himself (as the other villagers ineffably would) to that same standard? It's a hard question.
